he Village Arts Coalition, located in Boulder, Colorado, is a non-profit organization — a coalition of groups and individuals of all ages that, for the most part, are involved in with folk arts, music and dance of many forms, such as:
- Ballroom (swing, tango, waltz, fox trot, one-step, etc.)
- International and American Folk
- Contra dancing
- Vernacular and historic dance.

Dancin' Divas on SATURDAY, May 19!
Dancin' Divas offers same-sex partner dancing for the GLBTQ community (and friends of..) At 8p.m., our fabulous DJ Babs begins playing mainly a mix of country 2-step, line dance, country waltz, with some swing, salsa and club dance sprinkled in! Doors open at 6:30, and Susie Pringle, (of Olivia Cruises and Resorts,) will teach a beginning 2-step lesson from 6:45 to 7:15, followed by a hoppin' line dance lesson! Light refreshments provided. Cost is $10 at the door. This dance is regularly held on the 2nd Friday, but this month, by popular request, we are having a Saturday night dance! Come join us and check out the fun!

fest will showcase national, regional and local performers, square dances, jamming, music and dance workshops, kids’ performances/activities. Camping all weekend! VAC Membership
We invite you to consider an individual membership in the Village Arts Coalition (VAC). Members receive the STOMP! publication six times a year, may vote in VAC elections, and participate in many aspects of the coalition's projects. Membership rates are $10 for an individual, $15 for a couple, and $25 for a group membership.
If you have a participatory or performing group, we would love for you to join the VAC and list your events here on our website/portal! You will help make this become a comprehensive directory of all folk arts, music and dance activities in the area. For info about joining, please see the membership page.
